Role Description The Sales and Application Engineer/Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves engaging with industrial and automotive customers to understand their technical requirements, propose suitable engineering solutions, and support the sales cycle from lead generation to order closure. The position includes preparing and delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application recommendations, as well as coordinating with internal engineering and production teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery.

Daily responsibilities also include handling customer queries, providing post-sales technical support, participating in tenders and quotations, and maintaining accurate sales and application documentation.



The role requires regular customer visits, market feedback collection, and contribution to sales strategies to grow business in assigned territories or segments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Sales Engineering and Sales skills to manage customer relationships, develop opportunities, and achieve revenue targets.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to diagnose application issues, provide solutions, and offer reliable after-sales assistance.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills to understand product specifications, industrial applications, and mechanical system requirements.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills to interpret electrical aspects of products and integrate solutions into customer systems where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience in industrial, automotive, or precision engineering sales or application roles is preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric and ethical approach.
- Comfort with on-site customer visits, travel within assigned regions, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in standard office productivity tools and basic CRM or sales reporting systems.
