Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sage 500 Developer with strong hands-on expertise in developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting Sage 500 ERP applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Sage 500 development framework and be comfortable working with SQL Server, Sage 500 APIs/SDK, Visual Basic/.NET, stored procedures, custom reports, integrations, and ERP customizations .

This is a specialized role, and direct Sage 500 development experience is highly preferred .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, enhance, and maintain Sage 500 ERP applications.
- Build and maintain custom Sage 500 functionality, screens, reports, workflows, and business processes.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Sage 500 and third-party/internal applications.
- Work with Sage 500 SDK, APIs, and customization tools .
- Develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, triggers, and database-related solutions.




- Troubleshoot and resolve Sage 500 application and integration issues.
- Analyze existing Sage 500 customizations and make enhancements based on business requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support data imports, exports, reporting, and ERP-related automation.
- Perform testing, debugging, documentation, and production support.
- Ensure custom development follows appropriate Sage 500 development and data-access practices.

Required Skills
- Solid hands-on experience with Sage 500 ERP development/customization.
- Experience with Sage 500 SDK and/or Sage 500 APIs .
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL experience.
- Experience with Visual Basic / VB6 and/or .NET development .
- Experience developing Sage 500 customizations, reports, integrations, or add-ons .
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes such as Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger .
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting existing Sage 500 implementations.
- Ability to independently analyze legacy code/customizations and make modifications.
