Health & Safety Officer Role & Responsibilities

- Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with applicable health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and potential risks.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions for site teams.
- Assist in maintaining safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and other HSE documentation.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of health and safety procedures at project sites.
- Coordinate with site teams to address safety concerns and corrective actions promptly.
- Assist in investigating incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices, where required.
- Promote a strong safety culture and encourage secure working practices among employees and contractors.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- Diploma or Degree in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in interior projects, exhibitions, construction, fit-out, or other project sites will be an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observation and hazard-identification skills.
- Good knowledge of basic site safety practices, risk assessment, PPE, and safe work procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with site teams, contractors, and project management.
- Candidates with the following certifications will be preferred:

- NEBOSH
- ISO 14001:2015 EMS Auditor / Lead Auditor
- Other equivalent HSE/Safety certifications.
