Role Description The Robotics Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvananthapuram. The trainer will conduct classroom and lab-based sessions on robotics, guiding learners of different age groups through theory, hands-on activities, and projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, setting up and maintaining robotic equipment, demonstrating safe and correct usage, and supporting learners in building, programming, and troubleshooting robots.

The role involves assessing learner performance, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to diverse learning needs.

Trainer will also collaborate with the curriculum team to refine course content, participate in workshops or events, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in Robotics and Robot systems, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Hands-on experience with Robotic Welding or similar industrial robotic applications, including secure operation and demonstration.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting robotic systems and performing Preventive Maintenance on robots and related equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in teaching, training, or mentoring in a lab or classroom setting, preferably in robotics or STEM education.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage learners of different ages and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to safety, including adherence to laboratory and equipment usage protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and industry partners and willingness to stay updated on emerging robotics technologies.
