Role & Responsibilities

- Evaluate and shortlist UHF RFID reader/antenna modules (exa - Impinj, Zebra-class) against read range, tag-collision handling, SDK maturity and India WPC ETA pre-certification status.
- Design the hardware integration architecture for how the RFID reader, weighing scale and payment terminal connect into the kiosk application (serial/USB/SDK boundaries, event handling model).
- Run hands-on feasibility spikes measuring real-world read range, false-read rate and multi-tag collision behavior before committing to production integration.
- Own production-grade integration of the RFID reader SDK into the kiosk application, including tagread-to-cart logic, multi-tag/anti-collision handling, and exception handling (unread tag, weak signal, duplicate read).
- Lead hardware integration testing on the fully assembled physical kiosk (RFID + scale + payment terminal + receipt printer working together).




- Physically assemble and bring up the single POC kiosk unit at the Evince facility.
- Document vendor specifications, bring-up steps and the as-built bill of materials for reproducibility at Pilot stage.
- Advise on WPC ETA / BIS CRS certification readiness ahead of any future volume deployment.
- 8+ years in embedded systems, RF/wireless hardware integration, or IoT device engineering, with at least 2+ years specifically on RFID (UHF preferred) systems.
- Hands-on experience with RFID reader/antenna SDKs (Impinj, Zebra, or equivalent) and real-world tagread tuning - not simulation-only experience.
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals: read range, multi-tag collision/anti-collision protocols, RF shielding and interference troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working directly with physical hardware: soldering/wiring-level troubleshooting, serial/USB device integration, and on-site bring-up.
- Working proficiency in C#/.NET or equivalent for SDK integration into an application layer.
