Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Retail Salesperson role located in Surat.

The Retail

Salesperson will greet customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations that align with their preferences and budget. Daily tasks include explaining product features and benefits, maintaining product displays, handling sales transactions, and keeping the store clean and organized. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, managing returns or exchanges as per company policy, and working with the team to meet sales targets.

The Retail

Salesperson is expected to maintain accurate knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and pricing, while delivering consistent, courteous service to every customer.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet walk-in clients warmly, understand their clothing requirements, and provide personalized styling consultations.
- Present and explain boutique collections, including Lucknowi hand embroidery, Jaipuri outfits, Kolkata kantha dupattas, and handcrafted accessories.
- Assist clients in choosing complete ensembles,



pairing lehengas, Anarkalis, and kurtis with matching dupattas and designer clutches.
- Maintain store presentation, visual merchandising, and proper folding and display of delicate handwork garments.
- Manage stock counts, monitor rack replenishment, and ensure fitting rooms and inventory areas remain organized.
- Process point-of-sale transactions across payment methods, including debit/credit cards and UPI/Tez mobile payments.
- Handle client inquiries and basic coordination over WhatsApp or phone calls for custom inquiries and orders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills to actively engage customers and support store revenue goals.
- Familiarity with ethnic fabrics, embroidery styles (Lucknowi, Kantha, handwork), and sizing/fit alterations
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge skills to accurately explain features, benefits, and usage of items offered.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally and resolve customer concerns.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage routine physical tasks such as stocking and organizing merchandise.
- Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliability, integrity, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent qualification.
