Job Summary The Steward is responsible for providing excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests while adhering to company service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Welcome and assist guests in a courteous and skilled manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and beverages as per established service standards.
- Attend to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
Operations
- Prepare and set up tables before service.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the outlet.
- Ensure proper handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service team for smooth operations.
Sales & Upselling
- Promote menu items, specials, and beverages.
- Upsell products to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
Compliance
- Follow hygiene, grooming, and food safety standards.
- Adhere to company policies and operational procedures.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and safety at all times.
- 03 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, cafs, or hospitality establishments.
- Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.
Skills
