DKMS Life Science Lab India, a subsidiary of the non-profit DKMS Life Science Lab Germany, builds advanced diagnostics for blood cancers and other blood disorders. Our tools are built to be accurate, reliable, fast and affordable, so patients worldwide can benefit.

The role

As a Research Associate in Lab Operations, you'll be part of the team behind clinical diagnostic reports, including molecular minimal residual disease (MRD) testing for ALL patients. You'll work hands-on across the full lab workflow: sample arrival, QC, DNA extraction, library prep and sequencing. Every step is tracked in our LIMS, and the data flows through an automated bioinformatics pipeline into clinical reports.

What you'll do

? Run lab processes as per SOPs and record data accurately in lab systems

? Check the plausibility of results and flag discrepancies to your manager

? Batch-test reagents and document results

? Contribute to writing SOPs, and to corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)





? Coordinate with other teams, such as the biobank, to keep sample flow smooth

? Support data collation, figures and manuscript contributions when needed

What we're looking for

✅ Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology / Genomics)

✅ Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with DNA extraction, QC, qPCR and sequencing (Sanger and/or NGS)

✅ Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with IT-supported lab and data systems

✅ Precision, integrity, and a sense of ownership, plus the ability to work independently and in a team

Nice to have

➕ Experience handling patient samples

➕ Library prep experience on the ONT platform (not mandatory)
