- Design and formulate polyurethane systems, epoxies, and silicones tailored for various industrial applications including adhesive, sealants, potting and encapsulation.
- Understand and resolve complex formulation challenges, including wetting agent selection and filler settling dynamics.
- Optimize curing profiles for manufacturing efficiency, such as minimizing polyurethane gel-to-tack-free times and fine-tuning anhydride-amine curing reactions for epoxy systems.
- Collaborate with Production Chemists and Process Engineers to scale formulations from benchtop to bulk manufacturing, troubleshooting any viscosity, dispersion, or curing issues that arise during scale-up.
- Prepare reports and track progress on the formulation projects. Keep data organized and accessible for data analysis and discussion
