Experience: 5–15 years in Banking / Custody / Securities Services / Capital Markets

Role Purpose To manage and grow relationships with institutional and financial market clients by providing comprehensive custody and securities services, driving AUC/AUM, revenue and client wallet share while ensuring high service standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and develop relationships with institutional investors, Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs), Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Insurance Companies, PMSs, NBFCs, corporates and other financial institutions.
- Drive acquisition of new custody relationships and increase the Bank’s Assets Under Custody (AUC) and overall wallet share.
- Understand clients’ custody, settlement, reporting and securities servicing requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Custody Operations, Fund Accounting, Settlements, Corporate Actions, Tax, Compliance, Legal and Technology to ensure seamless client servicing.
- Act as the primary relationship point for clients and ensure timely resolution of operational and service-related issues.
- Drive revenue through custody-related products and services, including:
- Domestic custody
- FPI custody
- AIF custody
- Fund accounting
- Securities settlement
- Corporate actions
- Cash management
- FX-related services
- Reporting and other securities services
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across custody, transaction banking, cash management, FX and other financial services.
- Prepare commercial proposals, pricing discussions and client presentations in coordination with product and operations teams.
- Track client profitability, revenue,



AUC and transaction volumes and identify opportunities to improve wallet share and RoE.
- Monitor service levels, client SLAs and operational issues and proactively engage internal stakeholders for resolution.
- Keep abreast of developments and regulatory changes issued by SEBI, RBI, NSDL, CDSL, exchanges, clearing corporations and other relevant regulatory bodies impacting custody and securities services.
- Understand the impact of regulatory and market changes on client operations and proactively communicate relevant developments to clients.
- Support onboarding of new clients, including KYC, documentation, account opening, due diligence and operational setup.
- Ensure timely completion of client reviews, documentation, compliance requirements and periodic certifications.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand business plans, upcoming transactions and changing service requirements.
- Prepare client profitability / revenue analysis, AUC reviews and relationship plans for key accounts.
- Work closely with product teams to develop customised solutions for complex client requirements.
- Maintain robust focus on operational risk, regulatory compliance and overall client experience.
