About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Career Counsellor to join our expanding US IT staffing team at ATC. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about career development, talent acquisition, and the IT industry. As a Career Counsellor, you will serve as a vital link between IT professionals seeking new opportunities and our clients requiring skilled talent.

Your primary responsibility will be to understand candidates' skills, career aspirations, and preferences, and then align them with suitable job openings in the US market. You will work closely with recruiters, account managers, and candidates to facilitate a smooth hiring process, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders. This position is ideal for freshers with solid communication skills and an interest in US staffing, as comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided to help you succeed in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Prior experience in US staffing,



technical recruitment, or career counseling is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided for freshers with a keen interest in recruitment and excellent communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities, interpersonal skills, and the capacity to build and maintain professional relationships.

A basic understanding of US staffing terminology, work authorization processes, and familiarity with popular job portals such as LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, and CareerBuilder will be advantageous. Candidates must be willing to work in US shifts (CST) and thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, follow-up capabilities, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities In this role, the Career Counsellor will be responsible for engaging with IT professionals to understand their skills, experience, and career goals. You will identify suitable job opportunities that match candidates’ profiles and client requirements, leveraging various sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, and internal databases. Conducting resume reviews and initial discussions will be part of your daily tasks to assess candidate qualifications and expectations.

Building and nurturing strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process is crucial to ensure a positive experience and high engagement levels. You will coordinate interview schedules, follow-ups, and feedback collection,



acting as a liaison between candidates and recruiters. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate information within internal systems is vital for efficient tracking and reporting.

Additionally, you will learn and apply key US staffing concepts, including work authorization types such as W2, C2C, and 1099, to better support client requirements. Meeting daily and weekly sourcing, candidate engagement, and submission targets will be an ongoing focus to contribute to the team’s overall success.
