What would you do?

- You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
- The Global Payroll Lead, Strategy & Planning is a high-impact leadership role within the Global Payroll organization. You will spearhead international business expansion, lead complex cross-functional projects, and drive the strategic implementation of new payroll entities across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
- Working in a high-velocity environment, you will bridge the gap between corporate strategy

What are we looking for?

- Payroll Expertise: 7+ years of international payroll experience, with a deep understanding of regulations in the Netherlands, UK, and France highly preferred.
- Project Leadership: 4+ years of dedicated project management experience, specifically leading EMEA-focused payroll implementations.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Workday HCM and Oracle.
- Software Tools:



Expertise in ServiceNow (Ticket Management & Knowledge Bases); mastery of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Language: Professional fluency in English is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Implementations & Expansion
- Entity Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end implementation of current payroll entities, managing everything from initial setup and M&A; integrations to stabilization.
- Vendor Transitions: Manage the selection, transition, and implementation of international payroll vendors to ensure service continuity.
- Operational Readiness: Act as the primary architect for transitioning operational workflows to the Global Payroll Operations team, ensuring they are equipped for long-term success.
- Interim Processing: Manage hands-on payroll processing (base pay, bonuses, deductions) during the critical stabilization phase of new entities to ensure compliance and accuracy before hand-off.
- Project Management & Optimization
- Lifecycle Management: Own the project roadmap for payroll initiatives, utilizing structured project documentation, risk mitigation strategies, and status reporting for executive stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with IT, HR, Legal, and Finance to resolve roadblocks and align payroll infrastructure with broader business goals.
- Process Automation: Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency. Leverage AI and advanced system features to reduce manual touchpoints and enhance scalability.
- Governance & Subject Matter Expertise
- SME Leadership: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for diverse international markets (EMEA, APAC, LATAM), overseeing regions with headcounts exceeding 1,000 employees.
- Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and employee-facing knowledge bases to ensure transparency and self-service.
- Metrics & KPIs: Define and track payroll performance metrics, using data-driven insights to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
