Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Reclaim Rubber Plant Head based in the Bijnor district.

The Plant

Head will oversee end-to-end plant operations, including reclaim rubber production processes, workforce supervision, and daily coordination with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities include planning and monitoring production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing budgets and cost controls, tracking performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product consistency.

Head will also collaborate with senior management on reporting, strategic planning, and capacity expansion as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in plant operations and production management, with proven ability to lead reclaim rubber or similar chemical manufacturing facilities.
- Demonstrated skills in production planning and budgeting to meet output targets while controlling costs and optimizing resources.
- Experience in quality control, including implementing quality standards, monitoring process parameters, and resolving product non-conformities.
- Solid understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements relevant to chemical and rubber manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Rubber Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, training, and performance management.
- Ability to analyze operational data, use basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, reporting software), and prepare concise reports for management.
- Prior experience in reclaim rubber, rubber compounding, or chemical processing plants is highly beneficial.
