? We’re Hiring — React Native Developer Intern

Help us build the mobile experience for PookPit.

PookPit is a campus-focused digital platform designed to help students buy, sell, rent, lend, discover services, and connect within their campus community.

Our core backend is already developed, and we have a functional web platform. We are now looking for a React Native Developer Intern to help us build the frontend for our mobile application and integrate it with our existing backend.

? What You’ll Work On

- Develop PookPit’s mobile application using React Native
- Build clean, responsive, and user-friendly mobile interfaces
- Convert existing UI/UX designs and product requirements into functional screens
- Integrate frontend components with our existing FastAPI REST APIs
- Implement key user flows such as:
- Buy & Sell
- Borrow & Lend
- Listings and search
- User profiles
- Chat
- Orders and transactions
- Wallet/payment-related flows
- OTP/authentication
- Notifications
- Implement navigation and appropriate state management
- Test, debug, and improve the application across different devices
- Work closely with the founding team to refine and implement product features

?‍? What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with React Native
- Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Understanding of state management such as Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar
- Familiarity with responsive mobile UI/UX




- Familiarity with Expo or React Native CLI
- Basic understanding of Git/GitHub
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and learn quickly

Students with relevant personal projects, college projects, freelance experience, or previous internships are welcome to apply. ⭐ Good to Have

- Experience integrating payment gateways such as Razor-pay
- Experience with push notifications or deep linking
- Familiarity with authentication systems such as JWT
- Experience publishing mobile applications
- Open-source contributions
