Role Description The Quantity Surveyor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Malappuram.

The Quantity

Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), perform detailed quantity take-offs, and support tendering and bidding activities. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project costs, preparing cost plans and budgets, updating cost reports, and assisting in value engineering to keep projects within financial targets. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track variations, manage claims,



and ensure accurate measurement and documentation.

The Quantity

Surveyor will also support contract administration, verify contractor bills, and contribute to financial risk assessment and cost optimization throughout each project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Solid cost control and cost management skills to maintain project budgets and optimize expenditures.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and measurement for residential and commercial projects.
- Experience in cost planning and cost reporting, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and current market rates.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications accurately.
- Experience with estimation and quantity surveying software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with site teams, consultants, and suppliers.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction projects is preferred.
