Role Description The Quality Manager – Steel is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of steel products throughout the manufacturing process in an on-site role located in Sonipat. This full-time position includes developing and implementing quality standards, monitoring production processes, and conducting inspections and tests to verify product compliance with specifications and regulations. The role involves analyzing quality data, identifying root causes of defects, and driving corrective and preventive actions in coordination with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams.

The Quality

Manager also maintains documentation for audits,



supports certification and compliance activities, and trains team members on quality procedures and best practices. Regular interaction with internal stakeholders and customers is required to address quality issues, improve processes, and uphold consistent product performance.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop-floor operations.
- Experience with quality management systems, standards (such as ISO), and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Skills in inspection, testing, and measurement techniques for steel products, including use of relevant tools and equipment.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret quality metrics, and apply root-cause analysis and problem-solving methods.
- Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and maintaining records for audits, compliance, and certifications.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and guide quality initiatives.
- Relevant technical education, such as a degree or diploma in metallurgical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a quality-focused role within the steel or heavy manufacturing industry is highly beneficial.
