- Setup Verification Evaluating the initial machined part before a production run begins to confirm that programming, fixturing, and tooling
- Dimensional and Tolerance Checking Utilizing precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure parts meet exacting engineering drawings
- Visual Inspection Monitoring for micro-scratches, burrs, surface imperfections, or structural flaws using visual checks, optical comparators
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Robust understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) principles
- Proficiency in measurement and using the measuring instruments
