Designation: - QA Engineer

Role in the JJEPL: - 1) Ensure All machined components confirm with JJEPL & Customer requirements with Necessary documentation.

Your Stake Holders: - 1. Customer (Internal / External) – Assly, Customer 2. Employer – JJEPL 3. Colleagues / Subordinates – All team members & Team Leaders 4. Suppliers – Design, S/c, Machine shop

Responsibilities: - 1. Vendor assessment & development

1. Providing clearance for dispatch / arrange visit for inspection of material at vendor end.

2. Preparation of inspection report

3. Incoming material inspection
4. Follow up for mtc, bought out items test reports.
5. Clearing of rework GRN with debit amount
6. To send mail regarding non suitable product received in incoming inspection
7. Communication with supplier, vendors regarding non conformities.
8. Proper storage of mtc, inspection report after verification / Preparation.

9. Machining Offers
10. Identification & traceability of jobs
11. Preparation of NCR, CAPA, DCR
12. Get CAPA for rejection rework cases
13. Training to employee / Vendor
14. Reduce rework-rejection, NCR
15. Updating fortnightly report, offer data, GRN data on drive daily.
16. Preparation & Updating of S/c Machining QAP
17. Gain knowledge regarding functional req
18. Divide all work as per importance and priority.
19. Study drg. files after receipt.
20.



Analysis of Vendor Rejection-Rework.
21. Vendor Periodic Audit.
22. On time calibration of instruments.

Deliverables: - 1. Arrange inspection at vendor end on next day after receipt of inspection call with document. Inspected item at vendor should not get rejected once it gets accepted.

1. Reduce Rejection Rework of Machining inhouse & Vendors by at least 30% of last year.
2. Provide Clearance for Inspection report of Machined item on same day.
3. Clearing daily offers, GRN on same day with proper & complete inspection. with report / checklist.
4. Raise NCR on same day after receipt of CAPA.
5. Zero customer (Production, Client) complaint.
6. Calibration of instruments on time.

Accountability: - 1. Inspection Arrangement at vendor end on time or providing clearance on same day. 2. Machining Vendor Quality.

1. On time documentation like Inspection Report / checklist, NCR, QAP preparation
2. On time completion of GRN, Offer with quality.
3. On time calibration of instruments.
