Job Title: Rice Analyst.

Department: Quality Analysis & Quality Control

Location: Alipur,Delhi (Near Delhi DHAM)

Experience: Minimum 3+ Years (Depending on Position)

Salary criteria: 25k-45k (depends on interview/skill)

Job Timing: 9-7.30 (1 Hour lunch break)

Qualification:

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Food Safety or Quality Management will be an advantage.

Industry Preference: FMCG, Food Processing, Rice Industry, Basmati Rice, Grain Processing, Agricultural Commodities.

Job Summary The Quality Control & Quality Assurance professional will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards across raw materials, production processes, packaging, and finished products. The role involves implementing quality systems, conducting inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to deliver premium-quality Basmati Rice to global customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections of raw rice, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Examine and evaluate rice and paddy samples for quality and grading.
- Identify different rice varieties, including Basmati (1121, 1509, 1718, 1401, Pusa), Non-Basmati, IR-64, PR-11/14, Sona Masuri, Swarna, etc.
- Assess Raw, Steam, Sella/Parboiled, and Broken Rice.
- Perform physical, chemical, and sensory analysis of rice samples.
- Verify product specifications such as grain length, purity, moisture, broken percentage, foreign matter, milling quality, aroma, and appearance.
- Monitor hygiene, sanitation,



and food safety practices within the plant.
- Check grain length, broken %, moisture, chalky grains, red/black/yellow grains, damaged/discoloured grains, foreign matter, paddy admixture, polishing, whiteness, aroma, and cooking quality.
- Compare samples against purchase/customer specifications and prepare quality reports.
- Monitor rice/paddy prices, market trends, supply, demand, and procurement.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Packaging, and Export teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles.
- Knowledge of rice quality parameters and grading standards.
- Hands-on experience in food quality testing and inspection.
- Familiarity with food safety management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience in Rice, Basmati Rice, Grain Processing, Flour Mills, or Agricultural Commodities will be highly preferred.
- Experience in handling laboratory testing equipment and quality documentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage quality teams and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Ability to identify quality issues proactively and implement effective corrective actions.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
