We are looking for a Quality Controller to manage and monitor the quality of sports goods manufactured by outsourced vendors. The role will be responsible for ensuring that products received from suppliers meet the company’s approved specifications, quality standards, workmanship requirements, and packaging guidelines.

The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, good understanding of sports products, and the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect outsourced sports goods during production and before dispatch/receipt.
- Check products against approved samples, specifications, measurements, materials, colours, workmanship, and finishing standards.
- Conduct quality inspections of products such as cricket equipment, protective gear, sports bags, apparel, hockey equipment, accessories, and other sports goods.
- Identify manufacturing defects, damages, incorrect specifications, stitching issues, finishing problems, colour variations, and packaging errors.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports for each supplier/product.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Conduct random and batch-wise inspections based on defined quality standards.
- Verify quantities and product specifications during incoming goods inspection.
- Ensure that only approved-quality products are accepted for dispatch or warehouse entry.
- Maintain records of rejected, reworked, and approved products.
- Follow up with vendors on rejected/reworked stock until the issues are resolved.
- Work closely with the Product Development, Purchase, Production, Warehouse,



and Operations teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality checklists and inspection standards for different product categories.
- Maintain records of recurring quality issues and highlight them to the concerned teams.
- Conduct vendor visits when required to inspect production and ensure adherence to agreed quality standards.
- Support supplier evaluation based on quality performance, defect rates, and adherence to specifications.
- Ensure proper product labelling, packing, barcoding, and packaging as per company requirements.
- Handle urgent quality issues and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in Quality, Production, Textile, Manufacturing, Sports Goods, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Inspection, preferably in sports goods, apparel, footwear, bags, or manufacturing.
- Experience in vendor/supplier quality inspection will be preferred.
- Good understanding of product measurements, materials, stitching, finishing, and manufacturing defects.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
- Good MS Excel skills for maintaining inspection and quality records.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to travel to supplier/vendor locations when required.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality-related issues.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in outsourced manufacturing, sports goods, cricket equipment, protective equipment, sports bags, apparel, or accessories will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
