We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality assurance processes in the manufacturing of aviation refuelling equipment and filter vessels. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet stringent aviation safety standards, industry regulations, and quality benchmarks, not only for items manufactured but also to check quality of items procured by us.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control policies of the Company.

- Conduct regular inspections, tests, and audits of raw materials, manufacturing processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with required standards and OEM specifications.

- Monitor production workflows to identify quality issues and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Review approved design documents, drawings, tender documents, technical specifications, and Purchase order to ensure manufacturability and compliance with clients requirement & industry standards.

- Lead root cause analysis for quality non-conformances and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials and components to meet the technical requirements.

- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, testing reports, non-conformance reports, and quality metrics.

- Prepare detailed reports for management regarding quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace setting to ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality standards.

- Stay updated on industry standards and technological advancements related to aviation refuelling and filter vessel manufacturing.





Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed Institution or a related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of quality control experience in manufacturing, preferably in Fuel bowser & filter vessel manufacturing or related industries.

- Inspection & Testing Skills: Ability to perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, pressure testing, leak testing, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and identify root causes of quality issues.

Required Skills:

- Basic knowledge of CAD drawings and manufacturing documentation.

- Coordinate TPI inspection schedules, access, safety requirements, and maintaining required records & documents. Managing inspection readiness, deadlines, priorities, and documentation.

- Proficiency in maintaining detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation.

- Proficiency in understanding of raw material properties, standards, and specifications relevant to the industry.

- Proficiency in inspecting raw materials upon receipt and conducting necessary tests to verify quality and conformity.

- Attentive to detecting discrepancies, damages, or non-conformities in raw materials or items purchased.

- Understanding of welding, cutting, assembly, and finishing techniques specific to fuel bowsers and filter vessels.

- Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), pressure testing, and material testing for components.

- Familiarity with measurement tools such as callipers, micrometres, pressure gauges, and NDT equipment.

- Ability to coordinate with fabrication, engineering, and quality assurance teams.

- Ensure materials, fabrication, testing, and final inspections meet acceptance criteria.

- Capable to work in SAP Computer System.
