We are looking for an experienced Quality Executive with strong hands-on experience in the FMCG / Food Processing industry to manage and maintain quality standards across our manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience in food safety, quality control, HACCP, GMP, hygiene, documentation, production quality checks and audits, preferably within a frozen food, ready-to-eat, retort, vegetable processing or similar FMCG manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control quality throughout the complete manufacturing process, from raw material receipt to finished-product dispatch.
- Conduct quality checks for raw materials, in-process products, finished products and packaging materials.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, FSMS and applicable food-safety requirements.
- Implement and maintain HACCP plans, CCP monitoring and preventive food-safety controls.
- Monitor critical parameters across washing, cutting, blanching, processing, IQF freezing, blast freezing, retort processing, packing and cold storage.
- Ensure proper monitoring and documentation of temperature, time, pressure, pH, Brix, moisture, microbiological parameters and other relevant quality specifications.
- Handle retort process records, thermal processing documentation and critical process verification.
- Monitor cold-chain integrity, including product temperatures during processing, cold storage and dispatch.
- Conduct regular GMP, hygiene and sanitation inspections across the plant.
- Monitor personal hygiene, cleaning practices, pest-control activities and sanitation standards.
- Identify quality deviations and coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams for corrective action.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA and non-conformance management.




- Investigate customer complaints and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain complete quality records, inspection reports, batch records, traceability records and calibration records.
- Ensure product traceability and batch-wise documentation from raw material to finished product.
- Coordinate with external laboratories for microbiological, chemical and other product testing.
- Support and coordinate customer, regulatory and certification audits.
- Prepare the plant for audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, specifications, quality formats and food-safety documentation.
- Monitor supplier quality and incoming raw-material specifications.
- Train production and operational staff on GMP, hygiene, food safety and quality requirements.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Stores, Procurement and Dispatch teams to ensure consistent product quality.

Certification & Audit ExperienceExperience working with or maintaining systems related to: HACCP | ISO 22000 / FSMS | BRCGS | FSSAI | GMP | GHP | US FDA requirements | Halal | Kosher

Experience in handling customer audits, certification audits and regulatory inspections will be highly preferred.

Candidate Profile

- 4–8+ years of relevant experience in FMCG / Food Processing Quality.
- Candidates from frozen foods, ready-to-eat foods, retort foods, dairy, beverages, processed vegetables or similar food manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Must have hands-on plant experience, not only documentation or laboratory experience.
- Should be capable of independently identifying quality issues and taking appropriate corrective action.
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and food-safety risks.
- Must be comfortable working directly on the shop floor and production floor.
- Strong documentation, reporting and audit-handling skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Maintenance and other plant departments.
- Should be disciplined, detail-oriented and capable of maintaining high food-safety standards.
- Experience in a high-volume FMCG manufacturing facility will be an advantage.

QualificationB.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Technology or related discipline. Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Food Technology or related qualification may also be considered based on relevant industry experience.

- The candidate should be able to work hands-on across raw materials, production, IQF/freezing, retort processing, packing, cold storage and dispatch, while ensuring that the plant consistently meets required food-safety, quality and customer standards.
