The Quality Control and Compliance Officer ensures that all raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished leather products meet required aesthetic, structural, and physical performance standards. Additionally, the officer enforces compliance with environmental regulations, workplace safety laws, chemical management standards (e.g., REACH, ZDHC), and international trade/auditing requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Control & Assurance

- Incoming Raw Material Inspection: Inspect raw hides, wet blue, chemicals, dyes, hardware, and packaging materials upon arrival for defects, grading, and specification adherence.
- In-Process Quality Checks: Monitor key tanning, retanning, dyeing, drying, and finishing operations to prevent batch-to-batch variations in color, thickness, temper, and texture.
- Final Product Inspection:



Conduct rigorous inspection of finished leather or leather goods (color matching, surface consistency, tensile strength, tear resistance, rub fastness, and water resistance) prior to dispatch.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and analyze defects (e.g., loose grain, salt spalls, shade variation); initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with floor managers.
- Lab Testing Management: Coordinate physical and chemical testing with internal or third-party accredited laboratories (SATRA, SGS, Intertek, etc.)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
