– Quality Assurance (Home Furnishing)Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and ensure the quality of home furnishing products such as cushion covers, curtains, bedcovers, throws, runners, table linen, upholstery, wall panels, and other textile products.

- Conduct quality inspections at raw material, in-process, and final finished product stages.

- Check fabrics for defects such as stains, holes, weaving defects, shade variation, uneven texture, and other quality issues.

- Inspect stitching, seams, hems, piping, borders, zippers, buttons, attachments, and overall finishing.

- Check embroidery, handwork, embellishments, Khakha placement, motifs, and design alignment as per approved samples and specifications.

- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved samples, specifications, measurements, artwork, and quality standards.

- Conduct measurement checks and verify product dimensions against approved size specifications.

- Identify defects, record quality issues, and coordinate with the Production and Sampling teams for necessary corrections.

- Monitor rework and ensure that defective products are corrected before moving to the next production stage.

- Carry out final inspection before packing and dispatch.

- Maintain quality inspection reports, defect records, rejection reports, and rework records.

- Identify recurring quality problems and coordinate with relevant departments to determine corrective and preventive actions.

- Work closely with Design, Sampling, Production, Embroidery, Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing teams to maintain consistent quality.

- Ensure proper handling,



finishing, folding, packing, and presentation of finished home furnishing products.

- Minimize rejection, rework, material wastage, and customer complaints through effective quality control.

- Support the development of quality standards and inspection checklists for new products.

- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer-specific requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of quality inspection and quality control for home furnishing/textile products.

- Good understanding of fabrics, stitching, embroidery, handwork, finishing, and garment/home textile construction.

- Ability to identify fabric, stitching, embroidery, measurement, finishing, and workmanship defects.

- Valuable knowledge of measurement specifications and inspection procedures.

- Ability to read and understand approved samples, technical specifications, artwork, and production instructions.

- Robust attention to detail and good observation skills.

- Good knowledge of AQL/quality inspection standards will be an advantage.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Ability to prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.





- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with production teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in home furnishing, home textiles, luxury textiles, or soft furnishing manufacturing.

- Experience in inspecting products such as cushions, curtains, bedcovers, throws, runners, upholstery, table linen, and other home furnishing products.

- Experience with premium/luxury home furnishing products will be an advantage.

- Experience working with Design, Sampling, Production, Embroidery, Sewing, and Finishing teams will be preferred.

- Should be disciplined, responsible, quality-conscious, and detail-oriented.

- Should have a strong eye for finishing, workmanship, measurements, and overall product presentation.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
