Role: Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Quality Assurance Analyst to join our software testing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing, SQL-based data validation, API testing, and test documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute manual test strategies covering functional, exploratory, smoke, stress, and regression testing.

- Support end-to-end software release activities through pre-release, post-release, and regression testing.

- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases to validate application functionality and business requirements.

- Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects with transparent reproduction steps and supporting evidence.

- Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into comprehensive test scenarios, test scripts, and test procedures.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to verify application stability and functionality.

- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and technical discussions to improve overall testing coverage.

- Contribute to software development planning and quality analysis by identifying potential risks and testing gaps.





- Design and implement automated test cases where applicable to improve testing efficiency and product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Hands-on experience in manual software testing.

- Experience creating and managing test cases using Zephyr, Jira, or similar testing tools.

- Strong SQL skills for database validation and backend testing.

- Practical experience with Postman or similar tools for API testing.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.

- Experience with functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing.

- Ability to write clear, detailed, and actionable defect reports.

- Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, and defect life cycle.

- Ability to analyze business requirements and acceptance criteria and translate them into effective test scenarios.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to contribute to automation efforts.

- Experience with automated testing tools.

- Experience with running build/deploy pipelines.
