Insight Global is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer with strong experience in ETL and database testing. This individual will be responsible for validating data across systems, testing ETL processes and data transformations, performing API testing, and supporting both automated and manual testing.
The ideal candidate has strong SQL and backend/data testing experience, along with hands-on test automation and REST API testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform ETL and database testing across data-driven applications
- Validate source-to-target data and transformation logic
- Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and completeness
- Develop and execute automated and manual test cases
- Perform REST API testing and automation
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Execute functional and regression testing
- Collaborate with onsite QA, developers, and other project team members
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and testing activities
- Maintain test cases and testing documentation
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of QA/software testing experience
- Solid hands-on ETL/database testing experience
- Strong SQL and backend data-validation skills
- Experience with test automation
- Experience with REST API testing
- Manual/functional testing experience
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Ability to work through 12 PM Eastern Time
