South Guild Tech is hiring a Python engineer to work on a production pipeline built around large language models. You will work with a US-based Lead AI Engineer, ship improvements daily, and keep the pipeline healthy.
What you will do
- Enhance and maintain an existing Python pipeline and ship improvements daily
- Reproduce reported issues, read logs, find root causes, and ship fixes
- Plan your own work end to end and coordinate one or two other developers
- Sync daily with the Lead AI Engineer and explain your findings clearly in English
What we need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on software engineering
- Strong Python skills. You can read, debug, and extend a codebase you did not write
- You can set up a local development and test environment from documentation
- You know Git, APIs, databases, and automated testing
- You use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor in your daily work
- You can work 3pm to midnight IST, Monday to Friday
- You write and speak transparent English
