Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Python Tutor (Malayalam). The tutor will teach Python programming concepts to learners in Malayalam through online sessions, focusing on both fundamentals and practical applications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, delivering interactive classes, explaining coding concepts in a clear and culturally relevant manner, assigning and reviewing exercises, and providing constructive feedback.

The tutor will also support learners in troubleshooting code, answer questions via online communication channels, and track learner progress.



Collaboration with the team to refine curriculum materials and align teaching methods with the company’s educational and financial empowerment goals is expected.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Python programming, including core syntax, data structures, functions, and basic modules.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring learners in coding or technical subjects, preferably in an online setting.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Malayalam and English, with clear explanation of technical concepts in Malayalam.
- Familiarity with basic software development practices, such as using code editors, version control, and debugging tools.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered teaching approach.
- Strong organizational skills for planning lessons, managing schedules, and tracking learner progress.
- Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in financial literacy, income growth, or career development topics is an added advantage.
