Senior Developer Python Selenium Automation

Job Summary

Experienced Python Selenium Automation Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web automation solutions. The role involves building robust automation frameworks, automating complex business processes, integrating APIs, troubleshooting dynamic web applications, and mentoring junior developers.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automation frameworks using Python, Selenium WebDriver, and PyTest/Unittest.
- Automate web-based business processes, data extraction, and workflow validation.
- Develop reusable components, utilities, and libraries for automation.
- Integrate automation solutions with APIs, databases, and scheduling tools.
- Troubleshoot application and automation issues, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product teams,



and operations stakeholders to understand automation requirements.
- Implement logging, exception handling, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor team members.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in Python and Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with PyTest/Unittest, XPath, CSS selectors, and energetic web elements.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in web scraping, browser automation, and data processing.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Playwright, RPA tools, Docker, Azure/AWS, and AI-assisted automation.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and test automation frameworks.
