About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Python API Developer with strong Data Engineering expertise to design, develop, and support scalable APIs and data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python, FastAPI, REST API development, SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms. You will be responsible for building high-performance backend services, developing robust data processing solutions, and enabling seamless integration across enterprise systems and data platforms.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and support backend services for data-intensive and business-critical applications.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Work with large-scale datasets and optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
- Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Integrate APIs with databases, cloud platforms, data warehouses, and third-party applications.
- Implement API authentication, authorization, request validation, exception handling, and logging mechanisms.
- Perform API testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Develop reusable frameworks and components to accelerate API and data engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, data engineers, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions.




- Support production deployments and monitor application and data pipeline health.
- Follow software engineering best practices including code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and version control.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 6-8 years of experience in Python Development, API Development, and Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python programming and backend development.
- Proven experience building REST APIs using FastAPI and modern API development frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases including query tuning and performance optimization.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT workflows and data processing pipelines.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and scalable application design principles.
- Experience integrating APIs with enterprise applications, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Git, version control practices, code reviews, and collaborative development.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization,



and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
