Role Description This full-time, on-site Purchasing Manager role is based in Bilaspur and is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for machinery, equipment, spare parts, and related services.

The Purchasing

Manager will identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials required for mining operations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing purchase requirements, issuing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating closely with operations, maintenance, and finance teams. The role also involves maintaining vendor relationships, tracking procurement KPIs,



ensuring compliance with company policies, and continuously seeking cost-saving and quality-improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation for industrial or machinery-related supplies.
- Ability to manage purchasing workflows, including demand planning, purchase order processing, and inventory coordination.
- Solid analytical skills for cost comparison, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making in purchasing activities.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills for working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems and standard office productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in mining, heavy industry, or machinery procurement is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Bilaspur, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical and compliance standards in purchasing.
