Job Summary

RIM Projects Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage the company’s procurement activities and ensure the timely availability of materials. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, quotation comparison, price negotiation, purchase orders, and coordination with internal departments and suppliers.

Experience in the solar, electrical, renewable energy, or distribution industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate prices and payment terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Production, and Accounts teams regarding material requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid shortages.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier details, quotations, POs, and invoices.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Handle purchase-related issues, including shortages, damages, and delayed deliveries.
- Prepare purchase reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degre in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field will be an added advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in the solar, electrical, renewable energy, or distribution industry.
- Good knowledge of solar products, electrical components, electronic products, and renewable energy systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of product specifications and the ability to evaluate technical requirements and quotations.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Valuable knowledge of procurement and inventory management.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with ERP software is an added advantage.
- Strong follow-up, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
