Opening for Purchase Manager with 8 years plus experience in purchase department of any manufacturing company.

Role & responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, and engineering items.

· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely procurement at competitive prices.

· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

· Identify and develop new vendors while evaluating supplier performance.

· Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.

· Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.

· Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement records, and ensure compliance with company policies.

· Handle vendor negotiations, rate contracts, cost reduction initiatives, and value engineering.





· Ensure timely resolution of supplier quality and delivery issues.

· Prepare procurement MIS reports and monitor purchase budgets

· Possess knowledge of supply chain concepts such as VMI, JIT, Milk Run, and supplier development best practices.

Required Skills:

· Strong experience in procurement and vendor management in a manufacturing setting.

· Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

· Understanding of inventory management, supply chain, and purchase planning.

· Experience in strategic sourcing and cost optimization.

Preferred: Experience in manufacturing industry with exposure to local and domestic procurement.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
