Procurement &

- Purchasing

- Procure mechanical components, sheet metal parts, motors, blowers, dampers, filters, coils, insulation materials, fasteners, hardware, and related items required for AHU manufacturing.

- Generate and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).

- Obtain quotations, analyze commercial offers, and prepare comparative statements.

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions with suppliers.

- Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Vendor Development &

- Management

- Identify, evaluate, and develop current vendors and suppliers.

- Maintain strong relationships with approved vendors.

- Conduct vendor performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, service, and cost.

- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure timely corrective actions.

- Maintain an approved vendor database.

Material Planning &

- Coordination

- Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, and Planning departments for material requirements.

- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock.

- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production schedules.

- Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery.

Cost Control &

- Optimization

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing and value engineering.

- Monitor market trends and pricing of raw materials.

- Participate in annual rate contracts and strategic sourcing initiatives.

- Support inventory cost reduction and procurement efficiency improvement projects.

Documentation &





- Compliance

- Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, quotations, and supplier agreements.

- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and MIS reports.

- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.

Quality &

- Technical Evaluation

- Review technical specifications and drawings before procurement.

- Coordinate with QA/QC team regarding supplier quality concerns.

- Ensure purchased materials meet technical, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualification

- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

- Additional certification in Supply Chain or Procurement will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 3 to 8 years of experience in Purchase and Procurement.

- Experience in AHU, HVAC, Sheet Metal, Engineering, Manufacturing, or MEP Industry preferred.

- Knowledge of AHU components, fabrication materials, and industrial equipment procurement is desirable.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
