About the Role

PIV is looking for a skilled and experienced Punjabi Content Writer to join our content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Punjabi, a good understanding of social media audiences, and hands-on experience creating political and current-affairs content.

You will be responsible for researching trending topics, developing engaging content, and working closely with our creative team to deliver high-quality content across different social media pages and projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify trending political, social, and current-affairs topics relevant to Punjabi audiences.
- Write engaging, original, and platform-friendly Punjabi content for social media.
- Convert news, developments, and trending conversations into clear and engaging content.
- Develop content according to the tone, audience, and objectives of different pages/projects.
- Coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of content.
- Work on content planning and maintain timely delivery according to the publishing schedule.
- Manage assigned pages and ensure regular content requirements are completed as per project guidelines.
- Stay updated with Punjabi social media trends, audience interests, political developments, and emerging conversations.




- Review and refine content to ensure accuracy, clarity, language quality, and engagement.
- Handle multiple content requirements and projects while meeting deadlines.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional content-writing experience.
- Prior experience in political, news, current-affairs, or social-media content is highly preferred.
- Excellent written Punjabi with strong grammar and language skills.
- Strong understanding of Punjabi audiences, social media trends, and digital content formats.
- Valuable research and fact-checking abilities.
- Ability to understand a topic quickly and turn it into engaging content.
- Comfortable working with editors, designers, and content teams.
- Ability to manage multiple pages/projects and work within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, coordination, and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For Someone who is creative, well-informed, and proactive, with a strong understanding of what connects with Punjabi audiences. The candidate should be able to independently research topics, develop content ideas, and collaborate with the wider creative team to execute them effectively.

Compensation

₹30,000 – ₹55,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
