Role Description The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for managing the institution’s public image and communication with media, patients, students, and the wider community. Day-to-day tasks include drafting press releases, coordinating media interactions, preparing communication materials, and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets.

The role involves supporting strategic communication initiatives, organizing press conferences and events, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels such as print,



digital, and internal communications.

The Public Relations

Officer will also monitor media coverage, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with hospital and college leadership to highlight key achievements and initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, with experience in managing institutional reputation.
- Ability to draft and manage Press Releases and related external communication materials.
- Excellent Communication and Strategic Communications skills, including clear written and verbal expression.
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, and handling media queries professionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in healthcare, education, or institutional PR is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
- Comfort working in office in a busy hospital and college environment, with a collaborative and ethical approach.
