Your role

Oil Free Air TKS (Turn-key Solutions) business has substantially grown in India and with it the complexity of the same. Proposal is a crucial part of this business. With a goal to improve the overall efficiency of this team and to serve the customers better, we are now looking for dynamic, result oriented person to strengthen the Projects Organization based at Pune as Proposals Manager – AIF Projects in Customer Centre.

- Formulate the Project’s Non-Standard Business strategy in line with the OFA India business strategy, implement and review the same based on the market / customer requirements with a goal to ensure sustained profitable business growth within the divisional policies and guidelines.
- Achieve the Projects Business Plan
- Assess market potential and trends across various industries.
- Formulate, discuss, and finalize the sales projections with the National Projects Manager
- Prepare strategy to achieve the Projects Business Plan
- Ensure working in a way to implement agreed strategy.
- Achieve OR for Engineered Solution & TKS business
- Ensure correct proposals for Project’s / Non-Standard business.
- Ensure execution of sales process right from enquiry to order booking within Project Sales. (i.e., review tenders, correct commitments, right payment terms, warranty terms, contract agreement, deviations, etc.)
- Ensure proper review of gentle documents / contract agreements.
- Liaise with project execution team to support efficient order handling process.
- Review discounts as per local competition,
- Review proposals for achieving desired GP Targets.
- Provide input in formulating discount and pricing policy.
- Ensure correct offering / selection of products.
- Develop a competent Proposal Team
- Coaching proposal team
- Appraisal and competence evaluation




- Identifying training need and implementation
- Providing technical support to Project / Non-Standard sales.
- Implement KPI’s for Proposal Team & develop sustainable Process & Systems.
- Enrich the Corporate Culture
- Follow in letter and spirit the Atlas Copco Vision, Mission, and core values.

- Comply with the policies and procedures communicated from time to time.
- Ensure compliance with SHE norms laid down by the company.
- Perform any other tasks given by manager from time to time.

To succeed, you will need Experience Requirements-

- 8-10 yrs. of adequate experience in project budgeting, handling applications, Contracts management, Tender read-through & proposals preparations for segments such as oil and gas, power, mining, pharma, metals, automobile, air separation & electronics, etc.

Educational Requirements/Knowledge-

- Engineering graduate or equivalent with extensive experience in project’s proposals / project sales / applications in engineering industry.
