With experience across power and infrastructure projects, the company provides opportunities to work on technically demanding project sites involving electrical, civil, erection, testing, commissioning, and infrastructure works.

Role Description The Project Site Incharge will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and supervision of project activities at electrical power infrastructure sites, particularly EHV substations and associated civil and electrical works .

The position requires a hands-on site professional who can independently coordinate and supervise civil works, electrical equipment erection, structural works, cable laying, equipment installation, and associated site activities .

The Site

Incharge will be responsible for coordinating site manpower, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment to ensure that project activities are completed safely, within the planned schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings and quality requirements.

The role will involve regular coordination with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The candidate should be capable of identifying site issues, coordinating their resolution, and maintaining continuous progress at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise day-to-day activities at substation and power infrastructure project sites .
- Coordinate and monitor civil construction and electrical erection activities simultaneously.
- Supervise substation civil works including foundations, equipment foundations,



cable trenches, control room buildings, roads, fencing, drainage, equipment yards, and other associated works.
- Supervise electrical erection activities involving transformers, CTs, PTs/CVTs, circuit breakers, isolators, gantries, structures, busbars, control panels, battery systems, earthing systems, cable laying, and other substation equipment.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, erection, testing, commissioning, and subcontractor teams to maintain project progress.
- Interpret and work with approved engineering drawings, layouts, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules .
- Monitor manpower, materials, machinery, tools, and equipment required for site execution.
- Coordinate material receipt, inspection, storage, movement, and utilization at site.
- Monitor work progress against the approved project schedule and report delays or site constraints to the project management team.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and statutory authorities whenever required.
- Identify technical and execution-related issues at site and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, material records, manpower records, measurement records, inspection records, and other project documentation.
- Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil and electrical works to avoid execution conflicts and delays.
- Monitor housekeeping, safety practices, work permits, and compliance with site safety requirements.
- Travel or relocate to project sites within Tamil Nadu and other locations as required by the company.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience in electrical power infrastructure, substations, EPC projects, or related construction projects.




- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline .
- Candidates should have practical experience in substation construction and/or electrical erection works .
- Candidates with experience in both civil works and electrical erection will be preferred.
- Working knowledge of substation equipment installation, structural erection, cable laying, earthing, equipment foundations, cable trenches, and associated civil works is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, civil drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications .
- Experience in coordinating site manpower, subcontractors, materials, and multiple work fronts.
- Good documentation, reporting, and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for dealing with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day site activities and take timely decisions to resolve execution issues.

Location & Mobility Requirements
- Candidates must be from Tamil Nadu.
- The primary work location may be at project sites anywhere in Tamil Nadu .
- Candidates must be willing to relocate and stay at project sites as required by the project.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in field conditions and managing project activities at remote or developing project locations.
- Willingness to travel between project locations when required is essential.

Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- EHV/HT substations and switchyards
- 110 kV / 230 kV or similar substation projects
- Substation civil works and equipment foundations
- Electrical equipment erection and installation
- Transformer and switchgear erection
- Gantry and steel structure erection
- Cable trench and control-room construction
- Earthing and cable-laying works
- Testing, commissioning, and project handover
- Renewable energy pooling substations
- Transmission and distribution infrastructure
- EPC project execution
- The ideal candidate should be a hands-on site qualified who can coordinate civil and electrical execution activities, manage site teams and subcontractors, communicate effectively with clients, and take ownership of project progress from site mobilization through completion.
