Its sister concern, Pearl Logistics, provides customs clearance services, while Pearl Shipping and Chartering focuses on vessel broking, fixing around 20 ships per year for bulk and project cargo. Role Description: The Project Logistics Co-Ordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in TUTICORIN, focusing on end-to-end coordination of project cargo movements. The role involves planning and monitoring logistics activities for specialized cargo, liaising with shipping lines, stevedores, customs agents, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution. The Co-ordinator will track inventory and cargo status, prepare documentation, update systems, and maintain clear communication with customers and stakeholders on schedules, requirements, and progress.

Daily tasks include analyzing logistics plans, resolving operational issues, supporting compliance with regulatory and safety standards,



and contributing to process improvements. The position requires close collaboration with port operations and office teams to deliver reliable, efficient logistics services that align with client expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to read loading plans, heavy lift cargo lifting and lashing plans, optimize and troubleshoot operational challenges.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, port authorities, vendors, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to track cargo gear usage, maintain accurate records, and support efficient resource utilization.
- Candidates should possess Supply Chain Management skills to coordinate end-to-end project logistics, align multiple stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery.
- Relevant experience in shipping, logistics, ports, or project cargo operations is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software and logistics documentation
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Candidate should be proficient in Tamil and English. Preferably Hindi as well.
- Should be willing to travel and work in shifts as and when required.
