Key Responsibilities :-

A. Project Planning & Execution

- Planning of 220KV & below substation and transmission line works.
- Prepare project execution plans, work schedules, manpower requirements, and material requirements.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
- Ensure timely completion of project activities as per contractual requirements.
- Identify delays, constraints, and site issues and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate multiple work fronts and prioritize activities according to project requirements.

B. 220KV & below voltage levels Substation Works
- Supervise construction and installation activities for substations.
- Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, and erection works.
- Monitor installation of:
- Transformers
- Circuit breakers
- Isolators
- CT/PT/CVT
- Busbars
- Lightning arresters
- Control & relay panels
- Battery and charger systems
- Earthing systems
- Cable laying and termination
- Lighting and auxiliary systems
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure proper completion of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

C. 220KV & Below Voltage Levels Transmission Line Works
- Supervise transmission line construction activities from foundation to commissioning.
- Monitor:
- Survey and route alignment
- Foundation excavation
- Stub setting
- Reinforcement and concreting
- Tower erection
- Tower inspection
- Stringing of conductors
- Earth wire/OPGW installation
- Sagging and tensioning
- Jumpering
- Earthing
- Final line inspection
- Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate shutdown and line charging activities where applicable.

D. Manpower & Contractor Management
- Plan and allocate manpower according to project requirements.
- Supervise engineers, supervisors, foremen, technicians, and workers.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure proper utilization of manpower and equipment.
- Monitor contractor performance and productivity.
- Resolve site-level manpower and execution issues.

E. Material & Equipment Management




- Coordinate with procurement and stores departments for timely availability of materials.
- Monitor receipt, inspection, storage, and utilization of project materials.
- Ensure proper handling and protection of electrical equipment and construction materials.
- Monitor deployment and utilization of cranes, hydras, vehicles, tools, testing equipment, and other machinery.
- Minimize material wastage and equipment downtime.

F. Quality Control
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and testing.
- Ensure preparation and closure of inspection requests and quality documentation.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results and commissioning records.

G. Safety Management
- Ensure strict compliance with company and project HSE requirements.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
- Monitor permit-to-work, work-at-height, lifting, electrical safety, and other safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Immediately report and address unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and construction safety requirements.

H. Client & Consultant Coordination
- Coordinate regularly with the client, consultant, and project management team.
- Attend project review meetings.
- Discuss technical, commercial, and execution-related issues with the client.
- Obtain necessary approvals and clearances for project activities.
- Maintain qualified communication with all project stakeholders.

I. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly project progress reports.
- Maintain records of manpower, materials, equipment, work progress, and productivity.
- Track project milestones and prepare progress updates.
- Maintain site records, inspection reports, test reports, drawings, and commissioning documents.
- Report delays, risks, and major issues to management.

J. Billing & Commercial Coordination
- Coordinate with the billing team for measurement and preparation of RA bills.
- Verify quantities executed at site.
- Support preparation of client bills and subcontractor bills.
- Monitor work completion against BOQ and contractual scope.
- Assist in identifying additional works, deviations, and variation orders.

K. Testing & Commissioning
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of substation equipment and transmission line systems.
- Ensure availability of approved test procedures and required testing equipment.
- Coordinate with testing engineers, client representatives, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure punch points are identified and closed before final commissioning.
- Support energization and project handover activities.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline, depending on project responsibility.
- Relevant experience in substation and/or transmission line construction and commissioning.
- Knowledge of electrical installation, transmission line erection, testing, commissioning, and project execution.
- Knowledge of drawings, BOQ, specifications, method statements, and project documentation.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
