About the Role:-

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Project In-Charge – Conveyor Installation & Commissioning who has proven hands-on experience in installation, erection, alignment, commissioning and execution of different types of conveyor systems.

The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of conveyor equipment, site execution, mechanical installation, troubleshooting and project coordination. This position is specifically for candidates who have actually handled conveyor projects at customer sites, rather than candidates with only general project-management experience.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Take complete responsibility for conveyor project execution from installation/erection to commissioning and handover.
- Plan and supervise installation of All types of Conveyor systems.
- Other customized material-handling conveyor systems.
- Supervise and execute mechanical erection, installation, alignment and leveling of conveyors.
- Ensure correct installation of conveyor frames, structures, rollers, pulleys, belts, chains, drives, motors, gearboxes, supports and other components.
- Handle belt installation, belt tracking, tensioning and alignment.
- Check conveyor structure, shaft, pulley, roller and drive alignment before commissioning.
- Coordinate with electrical/automation teams for motor, VFD, sensor,



PLC and control-system integration wherever required.
- Conduct trial runs, commissioning and performance testing of conveyor systems.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, alignment, belt tracking, drive and operational issues during installation and commissioning.
- Read and understand GA drawings, assembly drawings, mechanical layouts, BOMs and project specifications.
- Coordinate with production, design, purchase, fabrication, electrical and service teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Manage site manpower, contractors, technicians and installation teams.
- Coordinate with customers at project sites and ensure installation work is completed as per approved drawings and requirements.
- Monitor project progress, installation quality, safety and timelines.
- Prepare and maintain site progress reports, installation checklists, commissioning reports and project documentation.
- Conduct final inspection and ensure proper project handover to the customer.
- Handle breakdowns and technical issues during commissioning and provide practical solutions.
- Travel to customer locations/sites as required for project execution.Candidate Must Have
- Strong hands-on knowledge of conveyor installation and erection.




- Proven experience in handling complete conveyor projects at customer sites.
- Robust understanding of conveyor components, drive systems, belt/chain systems and mechanical alignment.
- Ability to independently supervise and execute conveyor installation and commissioning.
- Experience in site/project management and manpower handling.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and conveyor layouts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to customer project sites.

Candidates from Conveyor Manufacturing, Material Handling, Warehouse Automation, Industrial Automation and Engineering companies with strong conveyor project execution experience are preferred.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. – Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have practical, hands-on experience in conveyor erection, installation, alignment and commissioning. Candidates with only general project management experience and no direct conveyor installation experience will not be considered.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
