Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Head – HVAC to lead and manage HVAC projects from planning and execution through completion and handover. The candidate will be responsible for project delivery, team management, client coordination, commercial control, quality, safety, and overall project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage multiple HVAC projects from project initiation to final handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, manpower plans, and resource requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed within the approved timeline, budget, quality, and scope.
- Review HVAC drawings, BOQs, specifications, technical submissions, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
- Monitor project progress and conduct regular site/project review meetings.
- Manage project budgets, costing, billing, variations, material requirements, and project profitability.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of HVAC equipment, materials, and manpower.
- Identify project risks, delays, technical issues, and commercial concerns and take corrective action.
- Supervise and guide Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, supervisors, and other project teams.
- Ensure proper coordination between Design, Estimation, Purchase, Stores, Finance, Service, and Projects teams.




- Review and approve project schedules, method statements, work plans, and execution strategies.
- Ensure compliance with approved HVAC designs, specifications, quality standards, and applicable safety requirements.
- Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, balancing, and final handover activities.
- Handle client escalations and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Review project documentation, measurement sheets, RA bills, final bills, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
- Track project KPIs including cost, schedule, productivity, quality, billing, collections, and profitability.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews of project teams and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Support business development and estimation teams with technical and execution inputs for new projects.
- Ensure proper closure of projects, including documentation, commercial closure, and client handover.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, testing & commissioning.
- Strong project planning and execution skills.
- Excellent knowledge of project costing, budgeting, billing, and commercial management.




- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Valuable understanding of HVAC drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools/software.

Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Experience

- 10–15+ years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution and management.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, corporate, hospitality, residential, or large-scale HVAC projects will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience managing multiple projects and large project teams will be preferred.
