ATMAN is a Centre of Excellence at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur focused on advancing air quality monitoring through cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML, low-cost sensing systems, and data-driven environmental solutions. The centre aims to address air pollution challenges across urban and rural India

Role & Responsibilities

- Deployment of IoT based air quality monitors with solar panels at designated locations.
- Ensure calibration and maintain air quality monitor uptime.
- Maintenance & troubleshooting of air quality monitors at field sites.
- Maintenance of IIT Kanpur colocation-calibration facility.
- This position requires extensive travel (80% of time). Selected candidate should be willing to travel. (Note:-TA/DA will be paid as per IIT Kanpur norms)




- Manage any technical issues of the air quality monitors with respect to data download and data access.
- Coordinate with people on the ground for all maintenance issues and coordinate with Start-Ups on managing maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech + 3 years experience in relevant field

Areas of Educational Qualification

:

Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.

Desirable Experience:

Candidate should have prior field work experience

Ideal candidate:

Should be ready to perform extensive field work. Candidate should be sincere and honest, especially in financial matters. Should be ready to undertake any work assigned by the Principal Investigator.
