This position will be focusing mainly on driving and implementing BIM strategies while developing advanced automation and parametric tools to enhance design, coordination, and project delivery efficiency. The ideal candidate will combine strong BIM management skills with programming capabilities to drive digital transformation within large-scale and complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement custom Revit automation tools and plug-ins using C# and Python to enhance modeling workflows and data management.
- Author and maintain Dynamo scripts and Revit macros to automate repetitive modeling tasks and improve project efficiency.
- Support BIM Implementation and information management across multiple BIM platforms in compliance with company or client standards.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Revit families, templates, and shared parameters to ensure data consistency and model performance.
- Create and supervise BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and workflows compliant with ISO 19650 standards.
- Lead the digital coordination process by managing federated models, clash detection, and reporting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align BIM data structures and automation tools with project requirements (LOD, COBie, etc.).
- Conduct training sessions and develop documentation for internal teams to promote the adoption of BIM automation tools.
- Develop standardized workflows and parametric modeling strategies for scalable, repeatable implementation across projects.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, data integration, and workflow optimization.
- Audit and monitor BIM deliverables for quality assurance and compliance with standards.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to other BIM modelers and engineers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
- 7+ years of experience in BIM and Revit MEP for large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a BIM Specialist or Revit Developer.
- Proficiency in C#, Python, and Dynamo for Revit API development and automation.
- Strong background in Revit API, Revit families creation/modification, and parametric modeling.
- Experience with BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Solid understanding of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and data structures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Ability to design, document, and maintain digital workflows and internal protocols.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD.
- Very positive command of English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work in a team and being supervised by seniors.
