Role: The Program Associate will support program implementation across Calicut and nearby districts, working closely with ITIs, government departments, CSO partners and internal teams to ensure smooth, timely and quality delivery. The role will contribute to the Young People &

- Work agenda across ITIs by supporting learner engagement, career development, employment and self-employment pathways, while strengthening trainer and institute capacity and enabling greater institutional ownership. The role will also support stakeholder coordination, field implementation, monitoring and reporting, data management, documentation, placement and industry engagement, and cross-functional initiatives to strengthen program quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Program Implementation &

- Quality

- Support end-to-end implementation.

- n of program activities across assigned ITIs.

- Develop and track implementation plans in coordination with ITI and internal teams.

- Conduct regular field visits to review program implementation, session quality and learner engagement.

- Support trainers and ITI teams in effective delivery of program interventions.

- Identify implementation challenges and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.

- Support ITIs in progressively taking ownership of program activities.

Young People &

- Work

- Support the Young People &
- Work agenda across ITIs, with a focus on career development, employability, employment and self-employment.

- Support learner engagement through career guidance, experiential learning, student-led initiatives and other program interventions.

- Collaborate with placement and industry engagement teams to strengthen employment pathways.

- Support initiatives related to future skills, AI, green skills and entrepreneurship, as applicable.

- Contribute to Women &

- Work initiatives and activities across Women ITIs.

Stakeholder &

- Partnership Management

- Build and maintain working relationships with ITI principals, trainers, placement officers and other institutional stakeholders.

- Coordinate with government departments and CSO partners for effective program implementation.





- Participate in regular review and alignment meetings with key stakeholders.

- Support resolution of region-specific implementation challenges through effective coordination.

- Contribute to building stronger institutional ownership and sustainable partnerships.

Training &

- Capacity Building

- Support Training of Trainers, orientations and other capacity-building initiatives.

- Mentor and support trainers in program and curriculum delivery.

- Coordinate with relevant internal teams on training design, content and learning needs.

- Support post-training follow-ups and identify areas where trainers or institutes require additional support.

- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen institute-led delivery and reduce dependency on external support.

Monitoring, Data &

- Reporting

- Ensure timely collection and submission of learner, trainer and institute-level data.

- Maintain accurate program records and databases.

- Support monitoring visits, assessments and review processes.

- Use field observations, data and stakeholder feedback to identify implementation gaps.

- Support preparation of program reports, case studies, success stories and other documentation.

Cross-functional Coordination

- Coordinate with internal teams such as Learning &
- Experience, M&E;, Technology, Communications and Placement/Industry Engagement.

- Support pilots, research, learning initiatives and other state/program-level activities.

- Share field-level insights, challenges and learnings with relevant teams.

- Participate in program planning, reviews and reflection spaces.

Requirements

Key Skills &

Experience

- 2–4 years of experience in program implementation, preferably in education, skilling, livelihoods, youth development or the social sector.

- Experience working with educational institutions,



government stakeholders, NGOs/CSOs or community-based partners.

- Experience supporting program implementation across multiple centres or locations.

- Understanding of y outh employability, career development, employment and/or self-employment.

- Strong coordination, communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to work with program data, documentation and reporting systems.

- Experience supporting training, mentoring or capacity-building initiatives.

- Willingness to travel regularly across Ernakulam and nearby districts.

- Experience working with ITIs, vocational education or skilling programs .

- Experience with Women ITIs or Women &
- Work initiatives .

- Exposure to placement and industry engagement .

- Experience with digital or blended learning platforms .

- Understanding of the Kerala skilling, education or employment ecosystem .

Salary: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 32,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate.)
