Role & Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science & Engineering.

- Conduct theory classes, laboratory sessions, tutorials, examinations, and student evaluations.

- Prepare course plans, lecture materials, assignments, laboratory exercises, and academic documentation.

- Mentor students in academics, projects, internships, placements, research, and career development.

- Guide student projects, dissertations, hackathons, coding activities, and innovation initiatives.

- Contribute to curriculum development and implementation of modern teaching-learning methodologies.

- Undertake research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.

- Participate in funded research projects, consultancy, patents, interdisciplinary projects, and industry collaborations.

- Support departmental activities related to NBA, NAAC, AICTE, MAKAUT, and other academic or accreditation requirements.

- Maintain course files, academic records, assessment reports, and departmental documentation.

- Participate in seminars, workshops, FDPs, conferences, technical events, and institutional activities.

- Support placement preparation, technical skill development, and industry interaction for students.

- Perform academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department, Principal, or Management.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong academic background in Computer Science & Engineering or a relevant allied discipline.

- Good command over core CSE subjects such as Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Software Engineering.

- Knowledge or specialization in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Generative AI, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, IoT, or related emerging technologies will be preferred.

- Strong programming knowledge in Python, Java, C, C++, or related technologies.

- Excellent teaching, communication, presentation, and student mentoring skills.

- Candidates with Ph.D., research publications, patents, funded projects, consultancy, or industry experience will be preferred.

- Experience in outcome-based education, NBA/NAAC accreditation, academic documentation, and curriculum development will be an advantage.

- Ability to guide students in projects, research, coding competitions, internships, and placement preparation.

- Robust interest in research, innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous academic development.

- Candidates should possess qualifications and experience as prescribed by applicable AICTE/UGC/MAKAUT norms for the respective position.
