Qualification

– DM / DNB (Cardiology) from an NMC recognized institution of India

Experience Required – Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Cardiology with requisite teaching experience as per NMC norms in a recognized medical college/hospital

Job Responsibilities

–

To perform all the duties of a Professor in Cardiology at Era’s Lucknow Medical College & Hospital, including:

• Leading and managing the Department of Cardiology (academic, clinical, and administrative functions) • Delivering advanced teaching and training to undergraduate and postgraduate students as per NMC guidelines • Supervising and performing complex cardiac procedures (e.g., angiography, angioplasty, cardiac interventions, non-invasive cardiology procedures)

• Guiding and mentoring junior faculty, residents, and students in clinical and academic activities • Overseeing patient care services in OPD, IPD, ICU,



and emergency cardiac care • Ensuring implementation of clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety measures

• Leading research initiatives, publications, and clinical trials in cardiology • Participating in curriculum development, academic planning, and institutional committees • Organizing and contributing to CMEs, conferences, and academic programs

• Ensuring compliance with NMC, NABH, and other regulatory/accreditation requirements • Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments for comprehensive patient care • Maintaining high standards of documentation, reporting, and departmental audits.
