Role Description The Production Trainee will support day-to-day manufacturing operations on the factory floor, assisting in planning, monitoring, and optimizing production activities for toothbrush manufacturing lines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chengalpattu, requiring regular coordination with supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.

Responsibilities include learning and applying production processes, supporting quality checks, documenting operational data, and following safety and compliance standards. The role also involves participating in training programs,



observing and improving production practices, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

The Production

Trainee is expected to be hands-on, detail-oriented, and willing to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and basic Production Management to support scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to help maintain product standards, follow inspection procedures, and support corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with supervisors, peers, and cross-functional teams on the shop floor.
- Candidates should possess an aptitude for Training, including willingness to participate in continuous learning and apply feedback to improve performance.
- Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field) is preferred.
- Ability to work in an on-site factory environment, follow safety protocols, and adapt to shift-based operations as required.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and basic computer literacy for recording production data and reports.
- Prior internship or exposure to manufacturing or FMCG production environments is an added advantage but not mandatory.
