Supervise employees during your shift and make sure that they complete their tasks and are motivated to work effectively.

Responsible for the operation of an assigned area in terms of production, quality, cost, delivery, technical, safety, and human resources, whilst respecting the defined goals. Manage all aspects of the shift through team-oriented working with the other Shift Managers for delivering, and where possible, exceeding, the key performance indicators within the operation. Strive to continually improve using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve production and quality

Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job

Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

Duties and Responsibilities -

Technical expertise in Powder coating (PC) & Liquid painting (LP) shop.

Capable of handling end to end PCLP shop along with allied assembly sections.

Production planning, execution, and delivery to customer on time.

Monitor and maintain production, productivity, and quality targets.

Monitor and control manpower, power, SME, repairs, and other allied cost within targets SAP PP module Stock analysis, BOM, material management, inventory control etc.

Full understanding of design and production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-work Coordinating daily production schedules to meet output targets and deadlines, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.

Ensuring that products meet quality standards by monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment,



conducting safety training, and addressing any hazards.

Identifying and resolving production issues or equipment malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Documenting production metrics, incidents, and employee performance, and reporting this information to upper management.

Onboarding new employees and providing ongoing training to existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies.

Analyzing production processes and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity.

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all company policies and procedures, and ensuring they are followed during the shift.

Preparing detailed shift reports that include staff performance, any incidents, and resource usage. Achieve the required company quality standards ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction

Through the utilization of lean manufacturing techniques, strive to exceed the Company targets in productivity, efficiency and quality on a continuous basis Ensure all external and internal auditory standards and improvement requirements are met.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production engineering

Knowledge of Word ,Excel, PowerPoint

Knowledge of SAP(PP)

Work Experience: Min. 3-8 Years Previous experience in a supervisory capacity in manufacturing with hands on exposure to Production Systems

Fluency in English, Hindi, Konkani

Experience of FMEA ,Kaizen, Continuous Improvements, problem solving

Poka Yoke techniques

Good communication skills
