Role Description The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that CNC machining, sheet metal spinning, and pipe and tube machining activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This full time, on-site role in Coimbatore includes planning and scheduling production, allocating resources, supervising production teams, and monitoring workflow to meet delivery deadlines.

Manager will coordinate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams, resolve operational issues, and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste.



The role also includes tracking production metrics, enforcing safety and quality procedures, managing inventory of raw materials and tools, and supporting continuous training and development of production staff.

Qualifications

- Strong production management skills, including planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal forming, and/or pipe and tube machining processes.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, inspection methods, and adherence to industry standards.
- Ability to lead and supervise production teams, with effective people management and coaching skills.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Capability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering, maintenance, and management.
- Familiarity with production documentation, ERP or manufacturing software, and basic MS Office tools.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in precision machining or metal fabrication, particularly in Coimbatore or similar industrial hubs, is an advantage.
